How to make waffles?

1. Mix your favorite waffle batter

You can start from scratch with your favorite recipe, or you can simply use boxed cake powder. Don't over mix the batter, it must have some lumps inside. The waffles made in this way are very chewy. Add an appropriate amount of oil or melted butter to the recipe to reduce the stickiness of the batter.

To add flavor, you can add some cinnamon essence, vanilla essence or almond essence. If you want a spicy breakfast, you can even try sprinkling some chili powder inside.

2. Preheating waffle cake machine

Place the waffle maker on a flat, high-temperature surface and plug it in.

3. If necessary, apply some oil to the pastry balls of the waffle maker

You can use cooking spray, melted butter or cooking oil. This can prevent the batter from sticking to the pot, making cleaning work easier. But we are a non stick pot waffle maker and can skip this step. Otherwise, there will actually be sticky deposits inside the cake jar.

4. Pour the batter in circles

Measure out about 180 milliliters of batter. Pour it onto the cake pan in a circle from the outside to the inside. If any batter comes out, don't worry, just pour less next time.

5. Close the top cover and heat the batter

During the process of making waffles, steam may emerge from the waffles. After it stops steaming, check if the waffles have been baked. It usually takes about 5 minutes. Don't go see how the waffles are baking midway. Opening the top too early will tear the waffles apart!

6. Use plastic, rubber, or silicone tools to remove waffles

Knives, forks, or spatulas can be used as long as they are made of plastic, rubber, or silicone material. Do not use metal tools, as they can easily scratch and prevent sticking to the surface.
